Grantland Hawkins is a filmmaker, writer, and graphic designer based in Chicago, IL. He has a Master of Science in Film and Television, specializing in Cinematography, from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication from Loyola University Chicago.

His film, “In the Bag” was an Official Selection and Best Experimental Nominee at the 19th DePaul Premiere Film Showcase, as well as a screener at the 2025 Ann Arbor New Voices Film Jam. He makes films that have been described as "intentionally flawed".

Grantland writes and produces films with his production company Cinema Rare Wine Pictures, which he cofounded with his brother, William S. Hawkins.
